Overtown Arts is a creative space and platform built to support artists and the Overtown community through programming and collaboration across five interconnected pillars. At its foundation is the Overtown Arts Directory, a resource for artists in the neighborhood and anyone looking to learn more about Overtown's art scene, including its history, a mural directory, and an artist directory for reaching and commissioning local talent. From there, the space comes alive through Artist Commons, a third space that's part co working hub and part community gathering place, where people can get work done, create art, or simply exist, with small workshops running weekday afternoons. Overtown Arts also anchors the community through Weekly Community Events, offering consistent programming with community partners such as a film club, digital arts sessions, and wellness offerings. Building on that foundation, Rotating Exhibitions bring fresh perspectives to the space, starting with Overtown, STILL and continuing with three exhibitions a year, each featuring its own opening and gallery programming. Finally, Artist Showcases and Private Events round out the offering, with quarterly showcases spotlighting local artists alongside space available for private events hosted by members of the community. Together, these five pillars make Overtown Arts a hub for creativity, connection, and cultural celebration in the heart of Overtown.
