In the snow-blanketed northern reaches of Le Gealaí, cradled by ancient mountains and eternal frost, lies a secluded village known as Raven’s Refuge. This was a place whispered into existence by the will of the Goddess herself—The Morrigan, deity of war, fate, and prophecy. The people of Raven's Refuge, bound by faith and frost, lived their lives in quiet reverence, healing wounds with herbs and speaking blessings beneath breathless skies.

Rin was born under a full moon, in the back room of her family’s herbalist shop, with black feathers scattered by the hearth and frost tracing spirals on the windows. Her parents called her a gift from the Goddess. The village elders called her a child of prophecy. But Rin only wanted to help—to craft stronger potions, to ease pain that roots and bark could not touch, to protect the people she loved from the dangers lurking beyond the snowdrifts.

Then, on a fateful full moon night, when the veil between realms shimmered with moonlight and prophecy, one of The Morrigan’s soldiers crossed from the Realm of Midnight. The figure extended a gloved hand, not in demand, but invitation. Rin, guided by faith and fierce love for her people, accepted.

Within the Realm of Midnight, Rin trained with unrelenting purpose. Her magic flourished, shaped by devotion and fire. She became more than a witch—she became a queen among corvids, crowned not with gold but with obsidian feathers and the sigil of The Morrigan etched into her forehead. She forged her army of chaotic corvids, rebellious spirits bound by loyalty and shadow. The moonstone on her belt, humming with ancient power, became the key to opening the veil between worlds.

Now, Rin walks the shifting line between goddess and human, healer and harbinger. With each full moon, in her radiant mother-form, she crosses into Le Gealaí to seek out new warriors, guiding them toward destiny. During half-moons, her magic darkens—her maiden-form half-corrupted by the shadows she commands. And in the stillness of the new moon, when the veil thins and silence reigns, Rin becomes something other, her crone-form cloaked entirely in shadow, a creature of wisdom, endings, and war.
