Can I join the guild mid-campaign?

Yes, DMs are prepared to adjust campaigns to allow new members to hop in mid-campaign. However, this requires communication on behalf of the new member and future planning.

Do I need to have any D&D Experience to join LDDG?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not, all training in how the game works is provided when becoming a member. If you join, you will get the opportunity to learn in an environment with peers with all levels of experience.

Question 4

Do I need to bring anything to meetings?

Accepted Answer

Bringing your own materials is not required. Members can bring their laptops if they wish to use online software for campaigning, such as D&D Beyond. Members may also bring their own dice, trays, manuals, etc. to use during campaigns. If members don't have any D&D materials they may use materials provided by the guild.
