Lincoln Old Town is a great place to live! Lesley, the sales and service manager is fantastic! She is always so helpful and kind! She is amazing!

My partner & I have been in the process of moving, were put in a stand-still because of life craziness, and finally were able to sign! Lesley, you are amazingly patient, sincere and thorough! This has hands-down been the best touring, leasing & moving experience I have had in the DMV area since moving down here in 2018. Lesley made sure we understood everything, and never made me feel silly asking further questions, even answering them before I had a chance to ask. Lesley, you’ve truly made this experience what it has been & your sincere kindness is next level; you are the best! We cannot wait to join the community!

The Apartment complex is located in a very nice area of Old Town. It’s very clean and the rents are reasonable for the space. If you have to contact their front office for any reason- please ask for Ms LESLEE. I had multiple questions, and she was the nicest most professional and pleasant person who gladly answered all my questions!!!

My wife and I recently toured Lincoln Old Town, and we had a great experience. Even though we didn’t have an appointment, Ivan took the time and stopped what he was doing and personally showed us around the property. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. Unfortunately, they don’t have availability for our desired move-in date, or we would have loved to make this our new home. The community is beautiful, well-maintained, and the excellent customer service made a lasting impression. If you’re looking for a place to live, I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Ivan!

My bf and I tried touring this place two weekends in a row and we were not able to get a tour at all. The first weekend we went, they said our appointment was never confirmed. Come to find out, all their emails went to our spam box. No one checks spam on a daily basis, so what management should’ve done was called to confirm. The leasing agent (wish I got her name because she didn’t do anything to help us) didn’t even offer to let us wait until a tour was done so we could tour afterwards. The second weekend we went, we triple checked to make sure our tour was confirmed. We even talked to the leasing agent (a different person this time) and they confirmed over the phone with us that our tour was scheduled. We got there a little early, so we already expected to wait a few minutes until our actual tour time. Our tour was at 2:30. We got there at 2:20 and still hadn’t been seen by the time 2:45 came around. No acknowledgement, no nothing. The concierge was very sweet and she went to speak to the leasing agent for us (same woman from the previous weekend). We were told that it would only take her 10 more minutes with whomever she was working with. Even the concierge said that they shouldn’t have been in there that long because they were just dropping off a deposit. When I looked back into the leasing agents office, she was not in there and the couple she was “helping” were just sitting there scrolling on their phones. We waited for 10 minutes and we left. At this point, it was quite obvious that the leasing agent just didn’t want to help us. It didn’t make it any better considering that the people we saw coming in and out of the building looked nothing like us. Hopefully her actions weren’t racially motivated. I also reached out to the manager of the property via email about this situation and I never received an email back. A simple apology from someone would be nice at this point, especially since my time and money for parking have been wasted for two weekends in a row. If you’re looking to live in Alexandria, especially if you’re a person of color, I would not recommend this place. If you don’t have the decency to help EVERYONE that walks through your door, you don’t deserve to be in business.

Living here is not worth the stress of an incompetent leasing office. Recent resident feedback includes “recent office staff seems particularly clueless”, recent renters beware!  They will tell you to wait a week to apply, that it needs approval from a property manager. What they don’t tell you, is that there is no property manager and they were trying to hire one. What they also don’t tell you, is that the apartment you got approved to transfer to will be leased out to someone else in the meantime (Renter of Unit 1111, I hope your red flags were raised after being asked to change the unit you applied for!). Don’t let them fool you. I loved my tour and the people I spoke to, and then I moved in. The experience with the property manager and leasing agents is what pushed us to seriously consider buying property farther away rather than continuing to rent here. Front desk concierge is always amazing, but the leasing office especially constantly rotating property managers make it extremely difficult to work with them. If you’ve lived here, this isn’t surprising, as I have yet to actually see a property manager on site, especially more than a handful of times. The kettler team at LOT does not live up to any other experience we have had with Kettler at other buildings, and is dream crushing when they leave you homeless after doing everything possible to start the transfer process. The MAA Carlyle next door is priced better, better amenities, and better leasing office.
