KEPRO - Kenya's Packaging PRO

KEPRO is an industry-led extended producer responsibility organization (EPR/PRO) bringing together stakeholders in the packaging for the non-hazardous products value chain to address post-consumer waste in Kenya. These stakeholders include strategic members and/or producers, Waste Management Operators (WMOs), and relevant partners. KEPRO's core values are Collaboration, Commitment, Circular Economy and Community. KEPRO focuses on these packaging material fraction sub-sectors - Flexible/Polythene Plastics, PET Plastics, Rigid/Hard Plastics, Papers & Cartons, Glass, Aluminium, and Composites. As a PRO, we support our members (producers) towards compliance and by developing and implementing EPR schemes to increase recycling capacity and local value addition within Kenya leading to a cleaner environment and creating more jobs.
