About me
I'm a lawyer and Law Society of BC–accredited mediator with a focused practice in residential tenancy law. I operate a solo tenancy practice and also work as a staff lawyer managing a high-volume tenancy program at a non-profit organization. I hold a management role in a remote legal clinic, where I provide legal education and supervision to articling students on tenancy matters. I provide consulting and advisory services to other tenancy lawyers and established tenancy practices. This includes case assessments, strategic advice, and drafting support on complex or high-risk matters, which informs a practical, systems-level approach to Residential Tenancy Branch disputes. I have been retained to review the legal accuracy of tenancy education curricula, including the RentSmart program, and regularly guest lecture on tenancy for professional audiences. I frequently assess and advise on judicial reviews of RTB and CRT decisions, and deliver continuing public legal education on this topic.
