Do you want to direct movies one day?

Accepted Answer

The short answer is yes! I initially intended to attend film school but I chose not to because of debt and because I’ve never been particularly fond of school espcially when it comes to education concerning my passions. I am an incredibly creative person and i’ve always felt that my creativity is stifled in school settings. Film is very important to me, it has been since I was a child and I hope one day I get to direct.

What Screenplays Have You Written So Far?

So far I’ve written two completed screenplays. Split the Check is a screenplay for a satirical short film about modern dating. Forever Sake is a screenplay for a feature film which follows a man who returns to Hiroshima to attend his Sake mogul father’s funeral, unfortunately his relationships with his living family members make the experience difficult. Split the Check is available to read and Forever Sake should be available to read soon.

Who are Your Favorite Directors?

Andrei Tarkovsky, Agnès Varda, Frank Capra, Wong Kar-Wai, Jordan Peele, Wim Wenders, Howard Hanks, Stanley Kubrick, theres likely many more but as of writing this it is late at night and I am tired.
