Icus Picus

I was born in Beijing, China, in 2008. My father is Catalan, and my mother is Chinese. I studied at 北京市海淀区第三实验小学. At age 2, I went to see a piano concert, and I fell in love with the instrument. At age 3 I started studying piano. Later, in 2015, I moved to Barcelona. There I joined Year 2 of primary school at Escola Municipal Tres Pins, where I discovered negative numbers on my own one day while I was bored in the playground. Here (in Barcelona) I have started to develop my mathematical side as well as my performance side. In 2022 I was chosen as student representative of IES XXV Olimpíada on the School Council. In 2024 I joined the youth choir of Escola de Músics and JPC, Musicals’ Choir. After the concert “Home, Love, Family”, I decided that I wanted to “live on a stage” for the rest of my life.
