Dominant Seven (V7) is an Auckland-based modern live ensemble bringing together soulful vocals, piano, strings, brass, and rhythm to create a rich and distinctive live music experience. Blending jazz, groovy R&B, pop, soul, funk, classical, and timeless favourites, V7 blends every performance to suit the occasion—from elegant weddings and corporate functions to private celebrations and live entertainment venues. With a unique lineup featuring violin, cello, trumpet/cornet, tenor horn, euphonium, piano, drums, and vocals, V7 offers a fresh alternative to the traditional cover band.
