Camp Tahquitz was amazing! Such a great camp filled with helpful and kind staff who can put the most nervous campers at ease. Our scouts enjoyed every minute of it. They offer a wrangler program which is rare to find along with a warm pool, cool showers, and classic campgrounds. All the food was delicious and our campers loved the variety. They accommodated our dietary needs and it was great to have a hot meal 3 times a day with no cooking or clean up required. This gave us so much more time to pack in fun program activities. Our scouts completed the mile swim, polar plunge, many requirements on the trail to first class and many merit badges: Swimming, Lifesaving, Wilderness Survival, Rifle, Robotics, Horsemanship, and Fingerprinting. They also got to do both a low and high COPE course, shoot shotguns, make a patrol flag, and much more. Such a great community and all volunteer staff that really care and are excited to be there. I highly recommend you give it a try.
