I’ve spent years meticulously sourcing the best products for my clients. I only use formulas that are trusted by fellow industry professionals—ensuring they are vegan, cruelty-free, and water-permeable.

It’s important to me that BELLEBLUSHSG remains inclusive; therefore, all our lash and brow services (excluding embroidery) are wudhu-friendly and safe for prayer.

What should I avoid before my brow appointment?

Accepted Answer

Avoid retinoids (retinol, tretinoin, adapalene), AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid), BHAs (salicylic acid), exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide, vitamin C serums, strong acne treatments, or any products containing active resurfacing ingredients near the brow area for at least 1 week before your appointment. Also avoid recent laser treatments, chemical peels, skin boosters, or strong facials.

If you are taking medications such as Accutane (isotretinoin), oral retinoids, or other prescription acne treatments, you may not be suitable for waxing or certain brow services—please inform us before booking. These ingredients, treatments, and medications can thin or sensitise the skin, increasing the risk of irritation, lifting, or skin damage during brow lamination or waxing.

Can I do brow lamination if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Accepted Answer

Brow lamination is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. For hybrid dye or tinting, results may vary due to hormonal changes, and a patch test is recommended.
