The Robinson College Artfest is a student-led art festival bringing together mixed-media submissions from students across Robinson College and Cambridge University for a final exhibition at the end of Lent Term

This year is centred around the theme 'Perspective.'

To build a community of Cambridge creatives, inspire submissions, and get students involved in art, we run bi-weekly workshops throughout Michaelmas and Lent term.

We hope to see you at our workshops and final exhibition!

What is Robinson College Artfest?

The theme for this year's Artfest is 'Perspective.'

We chose this as an avenue for thinking about how we see art and beauty in the world that surrounds us.

It's also about celebrating Robinson College's unique position and outlook in Cambridge due to its age, values, and architecture. This is particularly relevant as this year will be Robinson College's 50th anniversary!

All submissions are eligible for a monetary prize! However, these will not be judged as to how well they fit the theme.

'Perspective' is a prompt, not a criteria!

'Perspective'

Submissions are open for the Robinson College Art Festival exhibition at the end of Lent term!

These can be anything and multiple submissions from one person are encouraged! We want to see your painting, drawing, writing, photography, music or whatever else you create!

Every work submitted will be eligible to win a monetary prize!

To submit, email your work to:
artfest@robinson.cam.ac.uk

Please include:
- A photo of your submission
- The rough size of your work
- Storage information
- A description/explation of your work

Submissions close on Wednesday the 24th of February.

Sign up for our free lino printing workshop on Thursday the 29th of October from 19:00-21:00 in the Umney Lounge of Robinson College! All materials provided but you are welcome to bring an image for reference!

Note: if you’re using an image as a reference, make sure to print it in reverse (mirrored). This is because carving the image into lino and then printing it will flip it back to its original orientation.

Please sign up with your CRSID!
