Bastion is a survival horror LARP that is inspired by media such as The Last of Us, Black Summer, 28 Days later and The Walking Dead. The game is set four years after the collapse of society thanks to the Traxis-13 fungi, a deadly ascomycete that has mutated and infected human hosts. Players are civilian survivors who have heard a radio message offering hope; If they band together and work hard, they may find a place at Bastion, a new settlement formed by a group of well armed and supplied survivors. Players will have to scavenge for supplies, drive off infected, and deal with other problems that may affect an emerging settlement in a modern post-apocalyptic Britain. The game takes place at HQ Airsoft in Driffield. HQ Airsoft is a unique site which boasts derelict houses, workshops, garages and more over 126 acres - along with a few fun surprises that make it perfect for an apocalypse event.
