Hola! My name is Raquel, and I’m a proud first-generation Mexican-American. In June 2025, my family and I made the life-changing decision to move to Mexico, more specific Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. We felt a deep pull to reconnect with our roots—to truly live and breathe the culture, language, and traditions that shaped the generations before us. We wanted our child to grow up immersed in the warmth of Mexican values, but more than anything, we longed for intentional time together. Mexico is more than a destination for us—it’s a return to something familiar . My passion is helping others who are thinking about moving to Mexico, whether it's for cultural connection, a simpler lifestyle, retirement, or a fresh start. That’s why I began sharing our experiences here—both the beautiful and the challenging—as we build a life rooted in heritage, heart, and hope. Remember, home isn’t defined by borders. Home is wherever your family walks beside you. And for us, that place is Mexico.
