Complex PTSD (CPTSD) can develop when a person experiences long term trauma often in childhood without receiving emotional validation or support. Which is one of the main reasons I created Pink light therapy. I believe everyone deserves a safe space to talk about the trauma life can bring us. Psychologist Carl Rogers theory: unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness, which can be applied to mental health by fostering self acceptance and self compassion by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space.
