Avoid This Nail Salon at All Costs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in asking specifically for building gel nails, which they claimed they offered, but in the end I found out they didn't have anyone there would could do them (they even told another lady oh no you don't want that and then persuaded her to get something else). They gave me the wrong color pallets multiple times and kept saying, “we don’t have that color” after each one I chose. I was clearly being stalled while other customers were helped before me, even though I arrived earlier.

When I asked for help choosing from what they actually had, the manager got rude and dismissive. I calmly said I wouldn’t pay for incomplete service or tolerate disrespect, so I got up to leave—and that’s when it got worse. She chased me out of the salon, yelling that she was calling her husband, a police officer, on me. I told her I’d call the police myself, and I did. The responding officer agreed the service was unacceptable and told me to go ahead and post a review so others are warned.

In the end, I paid $15 for what little service they actually performed, and I went where I should have gone in the first place, Milano Nails.  They have amazing service and great customer service! The 20% off they advertise at Oasis, is just a cover for horrible service, limited products, and unprofessional behavior. Do not waste your time or money here—go anywhere else.

Disappointing Experience: Beware of Overcharging and Poor Customer Service

I always make a point to support new businesses in my neighborhood, so I decided to try Oasis Med Spa Nails when my daughter wanted a full set of pink powder acrylic nails with a French tip. The salon was offering 20% off as a new business promotion, which seemed like a great deal. Before the service began, my daughter specifically asked for the pricing. The price list clearly showed that a French tip was an additional $6 under “additional services”, full set $45 and $10 for soak-off. Based on this, she expected to pay around $60 without the discount. Her father gave her that amount in advance.

However, after the service, she was suddenly charged $75 — with the discount already applied by the owner. Shocked and confused, she politely asked the owner to confirm if that price included the 20% off, and the response was a quick, dismissive “yes.” Embarrassed and unsure what to do, she had to call me to add more money to her account.

When she got home, I saw her nails and was stunned that she was charged $75 for such a basic set (over $90 without discount). She’s had similar nails done before, never costing more than $65 — and that’s without any discount. Wanting clarification, I called the salon and spoke to the owner. Unfortunately, the call left me even more disappointed.

The owner was defensive and dismissive from the beginning. She claimed my daughter was charged $55 for a full set, $10 for a soak-off, and $25 for “nail art”. I explained that my daughter only received a basic French tip, which is listed on their website for $6 under “additional services.” She argued that the $6 only applies to polish or pedicure services — even though that’s not stated anywhere on their site. She insisted that a French tip counts as nail art, which is completely misleading.

The conversation went downhill quickly — she repeatedly said “I don’t cheat” and “I don’t have time for this,” then abruptly hung up on me, even though I remained calm and respectful throughout.

On a positive note, the nail technician who worked with my daughter was very polite and professional. If she worked somewhere else, we would absolutely go back to her. Unfortunately, the overall experience with management overshadowed the service she provided.

This kind of rude and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially from a local business trying to build a reputation. I wanted to support a neighborhood establishment, but I won’t be returning, and I will be letting others know about our experience.

Please be cautious and double-check all pricing in advance — this salon is not transparent and may overcharge without proper explanation. There are many other salons in the area that offer better service, clearer communication, and more reasonable pricing.

new, clean and welcoming. which is a great start until i’m sitting at the pedicure chair also getting my acrylic nails refilled and the tech angie i think was her name, saw my design of choice, asked if i would like to use a new glitter acrylic which i said why not. so has she begins to add the shellac polish and being the ombré , i noticed she never asked me if i wanted to cut my nails down, she did not reshape them after applying the acrylic, nor did she do any buffing. i came in with long almond acrylic lay over nails. once she was done i was not happy with the outcome, the tech herself didnt even seem to like them but just got her things and moved back to her desk area. she didn’t bother cleaning off my hands or getting a cloth to remove all the nail dust. i was so confused. because what i asked for even if i agreed to a tweak, it was far from what i asked. When it came time to pay , the lady in-front of me asked the manager/owner what is her price without the 20% off because it was still pricey which let me already think mine would be crazy high for something i did not like.
the lady said for my $49 pedicure and nails with 20% off came out to $94.00 which was ABSURD!
i asked for a break down and i could see her behind the desk just scratching numbers out & she came around to show me her doodle pad of a whole bunch of nonsense. $15 for a white line, additional for ombré which was FAR FROM WHAT MY NAILS WERE, the length which i came in with & shape which i also walked in with. So as i tell her, well non of that was mentioned by the tech. no price was given. the manager said, well that was with discount. i said yes and to even think how crazy high it would be without discount. the manager said, “well atleast they look cute”
NO! y’all are ripping people off and claiming it’s a 20% off which it is not. this is far from what i expected. then being a new small nail shop of barely any nail techs, i didn’t even care to have the 1 nail tech to fix my nails bc i already was not happy with the product.
i will NEVER return and definitely will not suggest this place ever to anyone.

absolutely horrible service, she cut my cuticles so deep they started bleeding, not once. not twice. not three times. 6 times. she was rude. and i paid before the appointment begin and tipped. i don’t know what made her think treating a customer was okay like this. i’m absolutely astonished i’ve never had a bad nail experience ever. until now. and note to u the heart… was supposed to be a T. The letter T…. girl wat is that.

I visited oasis on, 2/17/2026, after seeing that my normal salon was closing early for Chinese new year.  I opted for a gel pedicure, manicure and gel manicure for my daughter.  Now, when I entered, the place seemed nice and the so was the staff.  So no complaints there.  My complaint is with the work.  My pedicure was done well and I really enjoyed it.  However, my manicure which was done by another girl, was not great.  My nails were filed with different shapes, so some are curved, while some were squoval.  It just looked like I did them myself lol.  Now my biggest complaint is on my daughters nails.  Her nails literally popped off the next day.  She has gotten shellac several times at our local spot and it lasts 2 weeks without chipping.  For the price ($150), you would think the quality would match. So I was not sold on this salon.  It looks like they very in reviews but at this point, its a solid never again.

I highly recommend Oasis Med Spa to my neighbors and friends in the Rosenberg area. The spa is clean, organized and so very relaxing! The staff is so kind and professional. I provided a photo of the nail style that I wanted and they came out beautiful!! I will be returning to try one of the other many services they provide here!
