Hello Stranger

The challenge on this occasion was to design a jewelry object, and since I am crazy in love with the sea, the beach and everything related to it, I wanted to bring a bit of the sea to my hands, so I designed this octopus ring that wraps the finger, with golden material like the sun and I added some turquoise crystals like the color of water. The whole scene with a feeling as if we were underwater.

At that time in my life I felt trapped in a toxic relationship and I wanted to free myself from that situation, I wanted to express that feeling by making art and I wanted to play with the scale and make a surreal image, so I thought of an astronaut sailing in space using the planets like balloons just being free.

This is a reflection of what happened with the quarantine and the pandemic, the intention was to make a conceptual render to express a message in which the planet is calling us with the emergence of this new virus that paralyzed the entire world, in this way, she sends us a message to listen and take care of her, for this reason we see her distant and resplendent as we see in her our only home in which we all live.

There are many theories of the origin of life, there are many religions and many ways of thinking, but in the end no one knows exactly where we come from or what our purpose is, I imagine this deconstructed cube with all these strange shapes, floating and existing in the center of the universe and containing within it the knowledge of the true origin of life if you had access to this cube would you open it?
