Teletubbies Fun!

A creative mix of role-playing game show and improvisational theatre, where contestants enter a colorful Teletubby-inspired world to save the Sun God through laughter, teamwork, and performance. As the scriptwriter, I learned how to design interactive storytelling and balance humor with structure, ensuring the show remained engaging and imaginative for young audiences.

一档融合角色扮演与即兴戏剧的创意节目，参赛者进入天线宝宝的奇幻世界，通过欢笑与团队合作拯救太阳神。担任编剧期间，我学习如何设计互动叙事与喜剧节奏，让节目既具结构又充满想象力，吸引儿童与年轻观众的投入。

Role: Scriptwriter

I was the screenwriter for a short film inspired by Asian folklore, adapting the legend of Mahsuri from Langkawi. The story follows Siya, who travels to research Mahsuri’s tale and mysteriously wakes up in 18th-century Langkawi. She befriends Mahsuri and helps her fight against injustice, ultimately uniting the village women to save her from a wrongful execution.                                                              我是这部亚洲民间传说的编剧，讲述Langkawi的改编传说故事。故事在一天之内展开：（Siya）为研究（Mahsuri）的传说来到兰卡威。因深深同情Mahsuri的不公命运，Siya渴望改变历史。她因疲惫而晕倒后，醒来时已身处18世纪的兰卡威，并与Mahsuri和可欣结为好友。三人的情谊让Mahsuri获得知识与希望，但她们的举动引起村长Maka的怀疑，认为Mahsuri威胁村庄安宁。当Mahsuri面临冤枉处决时，Siya与村中妇女们团结起来，揭露村长的谎言，最终拯救了Mahsuri。

Seriha - Asian Folklore

This short documentary offers a quiet, close-up look at a Bentong durian orchard before the peak harvest season, revealing how each fruit develops long before it reaches the market. Instead of the usual festival-style coverage of abundance, the film follows the farmer’s daily care and the subtle changes of the trees, capturing the patience, textures, and rhythms of growth. Through measured pacing and cinematic visuals, it invites the audience to appreciate durian not only as a celebrated delicacy but as a living process.

这部纪录片区别于一般聚焦大丰收季节的榴莲作品，以采收前的时节为切入点，细腻记录榴莲从花开到果实渐成的生长过程。镜头跟随果农的日常与园中微妙的季节变化，呈现一种耐心与节奏感，让观众从“成长”而非“盛产”的角度重新认识榴莲的独特价值。

The Place That We Live - PUDU

The 35th Birthday is a feminist psychological short film about a 35-year-old independent designer who faces emotional turmoil from family and societal pressure to marry and have children. Through a symbolic mirror confrontation, she breaks free from internalized expectations and reclaims her identity.
As the Director of Photography, I used lighting and framing to visualize the protagonist’s psychological tension between independence and social conformity. I learned how visual composition and contrast can express abstract emotions and feminist ideas without relying on dialogue.

《三十五岁生日》是一部以女性主义为主题的心理短片，讲述一位35岁独立女设计师面对家庭与社会婚育压力的内心挣扎。她在镜中直面被灌输的完美女性形象，最终挣脱束缚，重拾自我。
担任摄影指导期间，我通过灯光、色调与构图来呈现角色在独立与社会期待间的心理对抗。学习如何以视觉语言表现女性意识觉醒与内在情感，让影像在无对白中依然传递力量。

心得反思： 这次幕前演戏让我体会到如何在镜头前传达亲情与矛盾，也更明白影像能触动人心的力量。

Reflection: Through this role, I learned how to express emotional conflict and family affection on screen, and how teamwork between actors and crew brings a heartfelt story to life.

Reflection:
As the gaffer, I was responsible for designing and controlling the lighting setup to enhance the emotional tone of each scene. I learned how lighting choices can influence mood and visual storytelling, creating a warm yet melancholic atmosphere that matches the theme of fading friendship. 
The theme of friendship and its changes over time is something that many people can relate to emotionally, especially as they have experienced shifts in friendships during school or university life. Using a narrative style allows us to visually show the emotions and story behind the lyrics of the song without needing much dialogue. The combination of images and music helps express the pain of losing a close friendship in a gentle, emotional way.

作为灯光师，我负责设计与控制整部作品的灯光布局，以强化每个场景的情感氛围。我学习到灯光的运用如何影响情绪与视觉叙事，让画面呈现出温暖却略带忧伤的气息，呼应了“友情渐逝”的主题。作品以“友情随时间变化”为主题，触动了许多观众的情感，尤其是那些在求学时期经历过友情转变的人。影片采用叙事式手法，在不依赖对白的情况下，通过影像与音乐结合，温柔而细腻地传达了友情从亲密到疏远的情感变化与成长的过程。
