GABRIELA MONCIVAIS - Actors Access

I am a Latina actor-singer-dancer based in NYC and Detroit, MI. I'm a proud graduate of Syracuse University, where I received my B.F.A. in Musical Theatre.

Originally from the Metro Detroit area, I've spent my entire life immersed in theatre.  The characters I play range from sweet ingenues with a bit of spunk (Margy in State Fair, Philoclea in Head Over Heels) to quirky but strong women balancing work and love (Rachel in Escape to Margaritaville, Marianne in Disaster!) to passionate heroines determined to stay true to themselves (Jerusha in Daddy Long Legs, Belle in Beauty and the Beast). I'm also known for kicking my face in the ensemble while singing high Cs, Ds, and Es!

I've been called in to audition for projects with ARC, Wojcik, TRC, and Holly Buczek, and I also interned with Calleri Jensen Davis as a Casting Associate. In addition to performing, I love writing, directing, arts and crafts, playing the guitar, Pilates, and attempting to survive in video games.
