Every custom sound design request starts with a 1 on 1 meeting or text exchange to discuss creative direction, share references, and consult on creative branding/finding your own sound. While this process typically takes 1-2 days, it ensures that the sounds are perfect on the first delivery. In the past, some kits would take up to 2 extra weeks due to creative revisions. Now, the chances are just under 0.02% with 19 of the last 1000 custom drums needing revisions across 20 recent kits. New Clients: The goal for new clients is to help find or build upon your unique sound. Think about producers you know who immediately imprint their own personality onto each song to the point where you can recognize their beats without a tag or checking credits. We will take into account your unique musical background and interests while creating sounds that align with you and your style. By the end of this process, not only will you have a bespoke set of sounds that stand out, but you will also have a fine-tuned sound selection process far more streamlined than sorting through dozens of folders for the perfect sound. Returning Clients and Established Producers: Clients with an established sound will have all of the planning time dedicated to analyzing references and honing in on the creative vision. This means that extra time and care will be put into nailing your vision and building upon your world of sound. Clients who want more of the same style from their previous orders will skip the planning process and be allotted 10 bonus drums (60 total). Alternatively, these clients may request real-time sound design where the drums are made live on call. What you will receive: Custom drum kit or preset bank with 50-60 drums or sounds in total. Delivery methods include .wav(drums and melodic one shots), Serum 2 presets (drums and melodic synths). All sounds will be completely custom and made from scratch - not recycled. Delivery time is 2 weeks. How it is made: I will use Serum 2, a modded korg minilogue xd, a korg drum synth, a roland groovebox with built in Zenology engine, Analog Lab, Elektron model: cycles FM drum synth, a hacked organelle M loaded with synthesis engines coded and developed by me, my own studio's fully miced up drum kit and a Zoom H6 field recorder for the base sounds. For further processing I use my own pedal board featuring 16 different analog pedals ranging from distortion, fuzz, spatial fx, glitch fx, studio-grade compression, analog EQ, and modulation. For mix-ready post-processing, I use Fab Filter Suite, Izotope Suite, and massive list of creative plugins. If I am fully booked for the month we can schedule in advance for following months. If you are not completely satisfied with the sound, you are offered 2 full revisions (100 more drums total) All custom drums will be private at the client's discretion. You may release the drumkit to the public for profit without crediting the sound designer.
