This is just a plain sandwich — not a Jibarito. Extremely disappointing. I’m honestly embarrassed that I sent my girlfriend here to pick up food. I normally go to Jibaritos y Más in Chicago, where they actually know how to make a real Jibarito sandwich. This felt like a fake, watered-down version from a place trying too hard to be an “infusion” spot instead of respecting the authentic recipe. I would never buy from this place again.

Cultura Subs has been my go-to spot in Morton Grove for the past few years. The owner, Nadia, is very sweet and kind to us. The restaurant is well decorated for dine-in service. We ordered the Cultura Mix, Loaded Shawarma Waffle Fries, and a Philly Cheesesteak. It was a pleasant experience today, and we finished off with dates and tea. We will definitely be returning again.

Bought Philly cheese steaks for the first time and unfortunately, was very disappointed. The bread was overflowing with meat but most of it was tendons or fat and not quality meat. The taste was below mid even though requested for spices. I would rather prefer to have less meat but quality meat in my order. We could barely finish eating what we ordered. We had to throw away some of our order. I was happy that they were zabiha certified which is why I went to support. I’m never returning back again!
