What is breathwork?
This is an active meditation process. You are able to reach a deep state through repetitive breathing.
What happens at the breathwork circle?
We begin with introductions, discussing intentions, and tarot readings. Then we start the music for our 1 hour practice. We loosen up, do guided meditation, and then 30 minutes of active breathing laying on the floor. Then returning to normal breath, followed by a brief integration session where anyone can share about their experience.
How to prepare
• Have an empty stomach or eat lightly
• Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes
• Option to avoid alcohol and mind altering substances for 24hrs before practice
What to bring
• Blindfold / eye pillow
• Water bottle
• Yoga mat
• Pillow or blanket
• Oils, crystals, or items that speak to your spiritual path
Aftercare
Take it easy afterward, eat nutritious food to break your fast, rest for the evening if needed, and follow some aftercare after your practice.
