I stopped by for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't open yet, but the waitress opened the door and greeted me kindly. My wife and I ordered the sale hamburger and fries of the day.
They were amazing from the look to the taste. The waitress gave us the best service until the end. If this place was closer to my house, I would probably go every week. It's really the best!!!

The best smashed burger I had this year so far. Very tasty and filling. The weekend I was there they had a live DJ which makes the environment even nicer. Staff are super friendly and when we gave them a minor feedback they returned the favour in 5star manner. Definitely will come back here again

Great burger, I think I’m less of a smashed burger person but it was still really good. Fries were good, restaurant was clean and staff were great.

CARPE Grill & Dinner was an amazing experience. Smokey Chris was incredible ,the burger was perfectly smoky, juicy, and generously sized. You can really taste the care and skill in every bite. The fries came in a big portion, hot and crispy, so no one’s leaving hungry here.

What makes this place special is that it’s an Iranian family owned business, run with so much love and passion. The Iranian chefs truly show you what a perfect burger should taste like — bold flavors, great balance, and cooked with heart. Highly recommended and definitely coming back. 🍔🔥❤️

Checked out Carpe Grill & Diner in the Shipyards area and it didn't disappoint!
We had the Carpe Special, the mix of the beef patty and chicken with the garlic aioli and their signature sauce was incredible.
The service was friendly and efficient, and you can’t beat the location right by the water in North Van.
Great spot for a solid smash burger.
