What is Bootcamp?

BOOTCAMP is a fun but tough group challenge that will run for 1 hour every Saturday morning at Worrell Reserve in Emerald. 
You will run, box, jump, throw, push, pull and climb.
You will be challenged and yes, it will be hard. But you will be supported and encouraged to show up each week and do your best. 
This is not a weight loss challenge. I aim to make your next 10 weeks about STRENGTH, RESILIENCE, POWER, CAPABILITIES and shifting the focus to what our bodies can DO rather than how we look.  
I guarantee that by the end of 10 weeks, you will be stronger, fitter and faster !!!

What if its raining?

Isn't it always raining here in Emerald? We have very limited undercover areas. So yep, you will get wet. 
You'll be fine, I promise.

Question 3

I'm a beginner to fitness. Will I be ok?

Accepted Answer

YES! We have all been beginners at some stage. 
I have trained 100's of people and most of them have been total newbies when they started with me. I can help you modify movements and help you progress as the weeks go by. 
It is never too late to start your fitness journey and what better accountability is there to sign up and have your next 10 weeks of training planned.

Question 4

Unforeseen Circumstances - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

I am currently facing some health challenges. I will do my best to coach every one of the 10 sessions, but just in case, I have several local trainers on standby to fill in if required. This will be communicated to you with plenty of notice. 
If on the rare occasion a session needs to be cancelled, a make up session will be offered. 
This also applies to extreme weather conditions. 
Your safety is my priority and as we know well here in Emerald, our weather can sometimes be unpredictable and dangerous.

Question 5

I am injured. Can I still participate?

You will need to sign a waiver and medical clearance before participating in this program. 
Please discuss with me any medical concerns you have.

Question 6

Why is there a limit of 20 participants?

Accepted Answer

Because there is only one of me! 
I have over 14 years of experience training large groups in fitness and I've found 20 is the sweet spot when it comes to group training. Enough to create a high energy and fun atmosphere but not so many that participants feel overwhelmed.

I really want in...but I missed out

Unfortunately, having capped participants means some people will miss out. 
My aim is to make movement accessible to ALL and if this bootcamp is popular and well received, more sessions will be added throughout the year.

Who is Bec?

I am a certified personal trainer with 14 years of experience coaching in both group and private settings. 
My clients enjoy success both in and out of the gym through my consistent approach to training. 
Emerald Community Gym is my location for personal training sessions (1:1 and 2:1) This is an excellent facility and has all the strength and conditioning options available in a safe and welcoming environment.

I'm an Emerald local mum of 4 kids who all work and attend school here. I run, I box and I lift weights. I have a passion for food and nutrition and I'm determined to get my 8 year old to eat more than just nuggets and pasta! (but I am so far losing this battle)

HOW DO I BOOK?

As there are only 20 spaces available, priority will go to those who have pre registered and enquired. Please read the terms and conditions and the  medical indemnity forms carefully. If your device does not allow you to sign and return the forms to me, i will have hard copies for you to sign. Contact me for payment details and once payment is received, I will contact you to let you know your in!
