We had a wonderful time with Juan and the rest of our class.   We made tortillas de patatas, a cream soup made from butternut squash and pears, seafood paella, and creme catalan. Everything was delicious, and Juan made the whole process a lot of fun.

What a fun class! We booked directly through their website and selected the daytime class (includes a tour of the Boqueria market). Whether you're a professional chef or a complete novice, you'll learn something and you'll enjoy the class. Juan was outstanding, thank you!

Barcelona Cooking

Our Barcelona cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Chef Juan was exceptionally knowledgeable, talented, and passionate about Spanish cuisine. He guided us through the preparation of Gazpacho Andaluz, Tortilla Española, Pan con Tomate, and the incredible Paella de Marisco, sharing not only the techniques and ingredients but also the history and traditions behind each dish.<br><br>Juan's teaching style was engaging, informative, and easy to follow. His enthusiasm for cooking was contagious, and his warm, captivating personality made the experience even more enjoyable. He created an atmosphere that felt welcoming and inclusive, making everyone in the class feel like family.<br><br>We left with a huge appreciation for the beautiful Spanish cooking, new skills we can use at home, and wonderful memories of the amazing people we met and cooked alongside. Chef Juan is one of the most knowledgeable and inspiring chefs we have had the pleasure of learning from. We highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Barcelona and looking for an authentic, fun, and memorable culinary experience.

What a fun filled evening for our last night in Barcelona!! Our young chef teacher was charming and had us all involved in the whole process of prepping and cooking.  I was surprised that we made a whole dinner starting with soup, tapas, entree and dessert. Our group of 8 ran in ages from 5 to 75 years old.  I know that we wondered if this was going to be enjoyable with kids, but these two children were well behaved,  friendly and participated. We all shared our high, low and buffalo of the day… Our highs and buffaloes were this class and meeting a great group of people and a great teacher!!!

This was a great class.  Johannes (spelling?) is an amazing host.  Extremely nice, personable, and knows how to cook as well!   We weren’t looking for an expert class as I had my son and his friend with us and Johannes was able to help them through all the techniques flawlessly.  Just an overall really fun time led by Johannes’s great personality and the good food.  Highly recommend Barcelona Cooking.  The establishment is very clean as well, which is important obviously!
