I have been fostering with The Rescue Crew for almost 2 years. I have been continually impressed with this organizations dedication to rescuing animals in need. I have enjoyed fostering 9 dogs,  and I hope to be able to continue to foster in the future. We always need more fosters, please check out the website for ways to volunteer and contribute as you are able 😊

Edit: We have fostered 11 dogs, and have now adopted a sweet new doggo. I so appreciate all of the work that The Rescue Crew does.

I adopted this little guy from the Rescue Crew and both of us are so happy. Kuddos to the amazing team at the Rescue Crew and Tamara for all they do for the pets. Their efforts are important steps toward a more compassionate world free of all types of animal abuse, cruelty, and neglect, no matter the species.

We adopted Whisper from The Rescue Crew. We love this dog! She is the perfect fit for us. We've taken her to play trivia, protest, and PetsMart. She did a good job of supervising our garage sale. Our cats are not so enamored (yet), but they are curious and taking steps to get to know her. We were rejected for another agency's dog, even after we met him, for not being active enough. Even though we are somewhat handicapped, we still get out and about and have fun! I wholeheartedly recommend The Rescue Crew and their work.

Sadly, I did not have a good adoption experience. I came to the shelter in Andover for a certain kitty for which I had applied. She had been adopted moments before I arrived. I did adopt her sister. The kitty that I adopted seemed to have picked me. She's very loving. I inquired as to whether or not she would be ok as a single cat. I was assured that she would. I have had her for 2 months. She cries for a buddy all of the time. She's very lonely. I can not afford a 2nd cat. This is why I wanted to know if they thought that she would adjust. I am having to surrender her. My heart is broken. I found a home where their kitty needs a buddy. I want the best for her. I reached out for help. I understand that this rescue is completely volunteer based. I would not adopt from the Rescue Crew again. I have read many successful reviews. Sadly, that was not my experience.
