Margot Nossal (she/her) is the Local Wellness Advisor (LWA) who works with the Residence Life team, supporting students living in McGill’s residence halls. 

A social worker by training and a licenced mental health clinician in the province of Québec, Margot works individually with students to support them through the big life transitions that can take place when they’re living away from home, often for the first time. Whether it’s discussing coping techniques or learning ways to deal with new/big/difficult feelings, seeking connections with people or groups that will enrich a student’s overall university experience, or for whatever other reason… Local Wellness Advisors are equipped to help support students and direct them towards the care that they might want or need.

Like the other Local Wellness Advisors, Margot also provides psychoeducational and skills-based workshops to students, as well as outreach and wellness promotion across campus.

Anna Gottheil is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and a graduate of McGill herself. She provides nutrition counselling services for students living in residence, develops and implements nutrition programming on campus, and plays an important role in making sure dining hall menus are nutritionally balanced and meet the needs of our diverse residence community

Anna is passionate about supporting residence students during their academic journey through nourishing, flexible and engaging nutrition interventions and individualized nutrition counselling.
