The mission of the Imperial County Historical Society is to advance the knowledge of the history of Imperial County and adjoining area to a larger segment of the population, to hold its archives and collections in trust for the public benefit and to facilitate educational and cultural development in the community. To carry out this mission, the Imperial County Historical Society will procure, restore, preserve, interpret and protect a broad array of documentary materials and artifacts with a goal toward bringing history to life through exhibits, special events and educational opportunities.
