*UPDATE* Ive reached out to bailey asking who my property manager is because they constantly change. Zero reply, Zero update. But thank god they replied to this review the same day I wrote it. Zero stars if I could. They make it impossible to get in contact with ANYBODY unless you physically show up to their storefront.

If you're looking for overpriced apartments that are frequently neglected by management look no further than Four Star Realty Denver! At Charleston Apartments, you'll find trash in the hallways, front doors that constantly break, broken washing machines and driers that make all your clothes smell like mildew, rotten eggs, and other people's sweat/body fluids. If you try to file a maintenance request not only will it go unanswered for weeks, they'll sometimes just cancel it if they deem it to not be an emergency. The property managers constantly need to be reminded how to do basic tasks such as signing leases, looking at maintenance requests, or just communicating in a timely manner. In addition to admitting (in writing) to using an AI system that gets confused by words like "pending", I now have NO idea how many of their listings are actually real and not just a mistake made by the same AI system that incorrectly scheduled apartment showings and listed my unit as being available while I was still going to be living there. Save the apologies for the next tenant if this kind of behavior isn't going to change. And from other people's reviews...I have the feeling it never will.

This company will not return my calls regarding the fee extra junk fees they’ve been charging me. They have back charged me for water from October and November. I have the billing and invoicing from that time, I paid those months and have proof. I also have been charged for gas and electric, as well as other junk fees. I’ve reached out to their employee Robert Wright numerous times and he agreed to remove the fees then ghosted me and charged gas fee for March and we don’t have gas in this property. Also we all pay xcel for electricity, what are the extra $45 months electric and $39 gas fees for then? I live at Villa Parada.

I do not recommend renting here based on my recent experience. I reported mold concerns in my unit at the beginning of January and was told maintenance would return to address the issue, but the work order was marked complete without the problem being resolved. After requesting professional mold testing, maintenance began repairs but left the bathroom unfinished and I received no follow-up communication. Although testing was later said to be negative, visible issues in the unit remained and communication was extremely poor throughout the process. Due to ongoing concerns and my infant experiencing respiratory issues, I ultimately had to move out for my family’s health. I truly liked the community itself, but the lack of follow-through, communication, and urgency when dealing with potential health concerns was very disappointing.

Horrible customer service. Practically zero communication. Four Star clearly does not respect or care about its residents in the slightest. Since buying our complex out, Four Star has: - Seemingly removed our dog park's trash cans, making the park extremely unsanitary and the problem of residents not picking up after their dogs infinitely worse. - Implemented a ridiculous "AI agent" without notifying us, causing us to think we were bringing our issues up to a real human when in actuality no one seems to even be reading them. (If Four Star's replacing paid humans with chatbots, I wonder why our rent hasn't gone down.) - Tacked on extra late costs to our bill because they "forgot" to start charging us a new insurance cost, and only acknowledged this after not responding to our calls for days. - Dodged our calls about a redundant renter's insurance charge until eventually telling us they don't want to help. The people in charge of Four Star must be wildly incompetent or deliberately taking advantage of ordinary people who only need somehwere to live. Many of our neighbors don't speak English as their first language, which makes me feel very worried about how much more they might be getting taken advantage of. We're only going to consider renewing our lease if we're given an oppurtunity to discuss these issues with an actual person. I'm hoping that publicly bringing these issues up in this way will encourage Four Star to get it together since our private communications clearly don't matter to them. Until then: AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
