Cyanide Paradise is a melodic deathmetal band from The Netherlands. Inspired by bands like Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend, Scar Symmetry and Mors Principium Est, Cyanide Paradise is aiming to present their variety of stories through powerful melody-driven songs. They distinguish themselves with their full, epic sound while maintaining a broad diversity within their songs, both in feel and lyrical content.

Biography

Cyanide Paradise was formed in 2019 by Martin and Jeff, who, after having played together before, decided to focus on writing music together. Soon after, Linn joined the band and it wouldn’t be long before the release of their first EP: Reach For The Stars!

In 2020 the band completed their line-up with guitarist Sebastiaan and drummer Fabrizio. A year of progress with several live shows awaited, until the Covid-19 pandemic brought everything to a grinding halt for them after just having played a single show.

After a forced period of little activity, the summer of 2021 saw the addition of Dimmy to the band, replacing drummer Fabrizio. Unfortunately Cyanide Paradise failed to regain the traction they had lost and in 2022 Sebastiaan and Dimmy decided to leave the band in pursuit of other endeavours. After some deliberation the remaining members decided to take a break for the moment and put the band on hold for now, though who knows what the future will bring!
