🟡 It's my first time in Mexico City, is there anything I should be aware of?

If it's your first time in Mexico City or if you're not familiar with it, there are a few things you should know to make sure everything goes smooth for you and everyone else.

1️⃣ It is illegal to drink in the street: make sure you never walk around outside of bars with a drink or any open container, as the police will arrest you and ask for a fine.

2️⃣ Check you bill: Make sure you bill doesn't included any extra expenses or automatically added tip. Tipping is optional and cannot be added by the bar or the waiter. Also ensure to receive the printed bill and not any hand-drawn or shown-on-the-phone bill.

3️⃣ Be respectful to everyone: we'll be visiting different bars and walking in the street during our journey, make sure you're respectful so everyone can have a good time!

When do Bar Crawls take place?

Bar Crawls take place twice a month:
- On the 2nd Saturday of the month
- On the 4th Saturday of the month

Registrations open roughly 2 weeks before the event takes place, make sure to join the groups and follow the pages so you don't miss out on the next Pub Trivia Night and discount codes!

How long do the Bar Crawls last?

Each Bar Crawl usually lasts for 6 hours (sounds like a lot, but trust me, time flies when you're having fun!). We start at 4:30 p.m. and then visit the last bar around 10 p.m. where everyone can stay the whole night if they want to.
If you need to leave earlier or join us at a later time, no problem!

What's included with my ticket to the Bar Crawl?

Each ticket includes the access to our Bar Crawl during which we'll visit a carefully selected list of bars and play party games together. (beer pong, flip cup, trivia etc.) You'll be able to win prizes during these too!
Your access also includes a free drink/shot at each bar (this can vary between a free shot, a free beer or even a free cocktail) for a total of 5 drinks.
And of course, lots of fun and friendships along the way!

Who attends the Bar Crawls?

There is a 50-50 ratio of men and women, and the average age is around 25-30 years old. There's also a 50-50 ratio of foreigners (tourists and residents) and locals.
The Bar Crawls are the perfect opportunity to meet people from all around the world as well as local!

How many people usually attend the Bar Crawls?

We usually welcome between 20 and 35 people during each Bar Crawl, and we limit the event to around 45 people to make sure it's not too crowded.

Are the bars in a safe area?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all bars have been carefully selected to make sure they are located in some of the safest areas in Mexico City. We also walk together as a group to the next bar, and the organizers are very familiar with Mexico City.

Are the bars we're going to visit expensive?

Accepted Answer

We make sure that we select affordable bars with fair prices when doing Bar Crawls (no tourist traps either!) so participants don't end up with a hefty bill at the end of the night. Plus, each bar welcomes each participant with a free drink/shot!

Can I come on my own?

Of course! The aim of our Bar Crawls are for people to meet other friends in a casual and fun setting.
Most participants come on their own, or with a friend or two, and meet new friends once the party has started!

My payment doesn't go through on the Eventbrite page, how can I pay?

Accepted Answer

If your payment doesn't go through on the Eventbrite page, please contact one of the organizers so we can find an alternative. The current discount will be applied without any issue.

Question 11

Can I, or a friend, join without a ticket?

Bar Crawls are a ticketed event: each participant needs to have a ticket to join our group, participate in the activities and receive the free drinks at each bar.
If you or your friend wants to join our event (even if the event has already started), they'll need to purchase a ticket on the registration page, or directly to the organizers.
