TV LICENSING
You need to be covered by a TV licence in the UK to watch or record programmes as they are being played on TV or live on an online TV service. To arrange a TV licence, please visit www.tvlicensing.co.uk

BROADBAND SYSTEMS
Your apartment has been wired for cabling for high-speed internet connection. You can apply to any broadband provider that you would like to use as long as they have an agreement with Pulse Fibre or Virgin Media. All residents 
are responsible for organising their connections to these services.

Set Up Your Utilities 

If you anticipate the delivery of furniture or larger items, it is essential to reserve a morning or afternoon delivery slot.

Significant deliveries will be directed through the designated move-in route, leading to the front entrance and lift core within the building. Residents must be present at their apartments for the duration of the deliveries.

To ensure availability, please advance-book the loading bay located outside the building entrance. You can secure a loading bay slot by contacting the Residential Management Team via email at 8HarbordSquare@CanaryWharf.com. 

We require the following information to secure your delivery slot:

- Vehicle Registration Number
- Driver's Full Name
- Company (if applicable)
- Time of Arrival
- Duration of Delivery
- Reason for Booking a Loading Bay

Please allow 24-48 hours' notice to ensure a loading bay is available.

Furniture Deliveries

The building is equipped with a state-of-the-art parcel locker solution provided by Bringme. To utilise this system, residents need to complete the Resident Registration Form. You can download the app for free and register your details (once you have completed the Resident Registration Form). 

This cutting-edge technology enables secure deliveries, with notifications sent directly between residents and the delivery firm via the Bringme app. Several lockers are situated on the ground floor.

Couriers may be provided with a code (2007) to access the building and place parcels into the Bringme lockers on the ground floor. This code can be obtained from the Residential Management Team. The code will undergo a quarterly review, and residents will receive notifications of any changes.

It is recommended to use the Bringme lockers for parcel deliveries. Larger parcels should only be delivered when someone is present at home. Parcels must not be left in the communal areas of the building.

Parcels & Bringme Lockers

Ensure proper disposal of refuse and recyclable waste by using the correct bin bags. Residents should securely bag waste and take it to the Bin Store on the ground level of the building, accessing the communal area with their fob.

For the disposal of bulky waste, residents can request a collection from Tower Hamlets Council without charge. Please book this service on the Tower Hamlets portal: www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lgnl/environment_and_waste/recycling_and_waste/Bulky_waste/bulky_waste.aspx. 

Tower Hamlets Council will confirm a date and issue a collection reference number. Once you have this, please contact the Residential Management Team, who will provide information on where items can be left until collection.

Please note that the Residential Management Team cannot organise this on your behalf, as the Council will not collect from management companies without incurring charges. If you have furniture, clothes, or books, consider donating these items to a charity.

Refuse Disposal

You will need to obtain consent from the Residential Management Team if you would like to keep a pet on the premises. Please contact Residential Management to obtain a Pet Consent License.

If permission to keep a pet is a granted, the Residential Management Team reserve the right to revoke the permission if the agreement terms are not met.

Please ensure that any pet is suitable for the size of the property and will not cause damage to the communal areas. 

The legal occupier and/or leaseholder will be held responsible for any damage caused by their pet. Pets are not permitted to wander freely in the communal areas and dogs should be on a lead or carried whilst in the building at all times.
