Formed in March of 2018 by a group of individuals passionate about spreading Demetrius DuBose’s story through film, Saturday Sun Productions provides the support and services required by filmmakers to create and connect with audiences in new and impactful ways. Saturday Sun Productions is thrilled to partner with Lost Dreams, a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for ex-athletes and members of the armed services. The mission of Lost Dreams is to provide a framework of support and guidance for all those who are in the midst of a challenging life transition. As our fiscal sponsor, Lost Dreams allocates a percentage of the funds they raise for our production budgets, and in turn, a cut of the profits from our projects go back to the foundation. This creates a great symbiosis between the organizations, and gives us the opportunity to give back through our films. All contributions made to Lost Dreams are tax-deductible. We are proud to announce we are near the completion of our first feature length documentary film, 'Demetrius DuBose, All American.' We were selected for the Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival, Cinema Royale: Paris, and the JXN Film Festival, which will take place on July 26 in Jackson, MS. We are currently awaiting word from other festivals on our list of submissions regarding acceptance status, and we're working hard to get this film distributed! We have one more polishing edit to go, and then we hope to be able to announce the details of our distribution deal. Our newest project, ‘93 Til Infinity: The Lost Champions of the 20th Century,' is structured as a multi-part series focusing on the 1993 Notre Dame Football Team told through the players themselves. They will tell the story of the season, and narrate their own history and experiences before, after, and during Notre Dame. Right now, we're focusing our efforts on pre-production and fundraising with the goal of beginning filming in summer or early fall. We estimate the rough cost of the series to be around $1.2 mil, and are hoping to raise the funds we need by the end of the summer. Want to get your name on this project?
