What counts as a View?

  • A View is the total number of times a visitor has landed on your Linktree.

  • Example: If 1 visitor lands on your Linktree once, that's counted as 1 view. If that visitor visits your Linktree another 3 times, that's another 3 views which now equals 4 views.

What counts as a Click?

  • A Click is the total number of times visitors have clicked your link (This includes Subscriber notifications and Redirect Links).

  • Example: If a visitor on your Linktree clicks on 3 different links, your click count total would be three, but you can see exactly which links they are clicking in the dropdown Analytics on each link.

What's CTR?

  • CTR stands for Click Through Rate. It is the percentage of profile views that resulted in a link click (excluding Subscriber notifications and Redirect Links).

  • Example: If your CTR is 52%, then 52% of your views resulted in a click of one of your links. CTR is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by how many views your profile has received. So if you've received 1,000 clicks and 2,000 views, your CTR would be 50% (2000/1000x100).

What's 'Time to Click (TTC)'?

  • Your Time to Click is the average time it takes for a visitor to click a link after landing on your Linktree

What's a Subscriber?

  • The total number of visitors that have clicked to Subscribe to your Linktree.

Tips for how to use your Analytics

How you can use your Analytics insights

  • Keep track of your Views and Clicks and you'll be able to work out which call-to-action is getting your audience onto your Linktree page, and which links they're engaging with when they get there.

  • Try moving less popular links further up your Linktree, or deleting them if they don't perform. Test out different copies of your buttons and see how that changes the View Count. Before long, you'll become accustomed to making content decisions based on how your links perform.

💡 Tip: Check out How to Write Good Link Copy for tips that'll help your link engagement.

Analyze specific links

  • You can see the lifetime performance of each individual link, along with Clicks, Views, and CTR for the last 7 days. This is a great way to measure the performance of your links daily.

  • This feature can help you pinpoint the engagement and hone your content strategy accordingly.
