We understand that there are times when you need to change your Linktree username. Your username is the name that you log in with and is found at the end of your Linktree URL.

To make things easier, we have built this feature under the Account section of your Linktree Admin.

💡Tip: Once you've changed your Linktree username, you'll need to update the URL of all the places where you've shared your Linktree.

🔔 Note: This feature hasn’t reached the Linktree app just yet, but you can still access this in your web browser by following the steps below.

Steps:

  1. In the Account page of your Linktree Admin, scroll down to the Account actions section.

  2. Select Change username and a pop-up will appear.

  3. Enter the new username and select Review username change.

🔔 Note: If a username is taken, you'll need to change it to a different username instead.

  4. Read the prompts and then hit Confirm Change.

🔔 Note: You're only able to update your username once every 7 days.

Once you've changed your username, you can log in to your account using your new username. Your password will remain the same.
