How to enable third-party cookies to create a course

Steps to help when you see the "You need to allow third-party cookies to continue" message when creating your course.

Some browsers block third-party cookies by default, which can prevent you from creating your course correctly. When this happens, you'll see the "You need to allow third-party cookies to continue" message.

Follow the steps below to enable third-party cookies in Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

📝 Note: You can disable third-party cookies again after you've successfully created your course.

Safari

  1. Open Safari, then click Safari in the top menu bar and select Settings.

  2. Go to the Privacy tab.

  3. Uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking.

  4. Uncheck Block all cookies under Advanced Settings.

💡 Tip: After updating these settings, refresh the Links page and try creating your course again.

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome, click the three-dot menu, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.

  2. Select Allow third-party cookies, or add [*.]linktr.ee to the allowed sites list.

💡 Tip: After updating these settings, refresh the Links page and try creating your course again.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox, click the three-line menu, go to Settings > Privacy & Security.

  2. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard.

  3. (Optional) Under Manage Exceptions, enter linktr.ee and choose Allow, then click Save Changes.

💡 Tip: After updating these settings, refresh the Links page and try creating your course again.

Still stuck?

If you're still seeing a third-party cookie warning, try refreshing the page after updating your browser settings, or try a different browser to complete your course setup.
