Golden Lines and Silver Lining

My watercolor and mixed-media artwork emulate places I love, objects of my affection, and the atmospheres of my spirit. The materials and textures resemble the subtleties and complexities of a subject or the natural world. My goal is to add a nuance of abstraction and evoke a reminiscent or sentimental response to what you are viewing. My current work links the mountains, the sea, and everything in between with soul and spirit. I incorporate environmental sustainability by using reclaimed nautical sails, marine fabrics, textiles, and vintage materials. Repurposing gives them a new life, purpose, and story, forming a deeper connection and respect for our environment.
