Our top 3 Take-aways
Here are 3 quick wins to make your content rank #1 on Google (even if you’re a beginner).
Number 1: Use the Skyscraper technique
This is where you take whatever’s currently ranking #1 on Google for your keywords, and just make it 10% better. Sort of like building up a skyscraper to make it 10% taller — it’s not a perfect metaphor. You can do this by:
- Making your content longer and more in-depth
- Making your content fresher more up-to-date info
- Designing a nicer-looking page that’s also more mobile-friendly.
- And, adding images, video, audio, and other mixed media
Number 2: Consistency is Key
Millions of pieces of content are posted every single day, so to make sure that Google sees your content, you should post on a regular basis. Even just posting every week for a couple of months can make a huge difference.

Number 3: Link to Other Content
Creating and nurturing a community will always pay off. Don’t be shy to reach out to other fellow creators and request they support your content too. It may be as simple as having them link back to you! Other creators are always interested in exposing themselves to new audiences, so as long as you’re providing value, they should be up for it!
