Did you ever think when you posted your first video on the internet that you would be on a billboard in Times Square? What was your reaction when you found out?

No, I didn’t think I’d ever be on a billboard in Times Square. If I’m being honest, I didn’t think I’d be on a billboard anywhere… I mean it was always something I would see and think “oh that’d be cool” but I never thought it would actually happen. When I found out that I was going to be on a billboard in Times Square… I did a backflip. I did. I’m being so serious. I did a full standing backflip. I wish I got a video of it because that’s the first backflip i’ve ever done and… it’s the only one I’ll ever do in my life… and I didn’t get it on camera, but I promise you, I did it. And it was pretty cool.

If you could extend your billboard space to the next up and coming creator that we all should be keeping tabs on, who would it be?

In a perfect world, people would only watch my videos but if you were to watch someone else… Jake Krantz. His videos are super funny and he’s developed his own format which is pretty tough to do these days, so shout out Jake.

Is there a new project or hobby that you are exploring in 2024 that you can share with us?

In 2024 I’m going to keep doing YouTube videos. I’m working on a new hour of stand up material so I can hit the road again – do another big tour – I want to film another special, that’s a goal for this year along with doing some more long form, documentary style videos that I’ve started experimenting with too. Hobbies? I don’t do anything at all. The one thing I want to do more this year is stretch.

What is the elevator pitch for why people should check out your comedy special if they haven’t already?

Ok elevator pitch for someone who hasn’t seen my special… so an elevator pitch is if you’re stuck in an elevator with someone for a long time, what can you say or do to convince them to do something right… but if I was in an elevator with someone and I wanted them to see my special? I’m pressing the emergency stop button. Help probably won’t get there for like an hour? So I’m like, “dude. Want to kill some time? We can watch my special. 😀” So that’s probably how I would do it.

If I’m not in an elevator with you.. Just watch it! It’s funny! And I had a blast doing it.
