When are your service times?

We gather for worship in person every Sunday at 10:00 AM at our church, which is situated at 5820 Dix St NE, WDC 20019. (Our virtual service at 10:00 AM is typically a pre-recorded live broadcast; however, on special occasions, we do livestream.)

Additionally, we host a virtual Bible Study each Wednesday at 7:00 PM, accessible on our website's homepage, as well as on Facebook and YouTube.

Our Sunday School, catering to all ages—children and adults alike—takes place every Sunday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

We have parking available in our lot on 59th Street, as well as on-street parking on both Dix St and 59th Street.

We provide continuous youth programs and activities, including Youth Blast (Sunday School), Youth Exposure (one-on-one time with the Pastor), youth retreats, Back to School events, HarvestFest, and more.

What should I expect on my first visit?

When you arrive for your first visit, you can look forward to stepping into a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Our greeters will warmly welcome you, and our ushers will guide you to your seat. You'll experience an uplifting message that is Biblically sound, delivered by our pastor, an associate, or a guest minister, along with some motivational music.

Who is the pastor? And who’s on staff?

Our Pastor is Dr. Marcus E. Turner. He holds the distinction of being the second longest-serving pastor in our church's 116-year history. He is nearing his 26th year in this role. He is married to Minister Lisa S. Turner.

Our church is overseen by a Council of Elders, which currently includes Pastor Turner, Elder Moore, and Elder Sutton. We have a varied group of officers, including Deacons, Deaconesses, an Administrator, a Treasurer, and more.

Additionally, we have staff for security, music, and administrative roles.

Will you ask me for money?

We understand that first-time guests may not feel inclined to give... While we encourage our regular attendees to contribute and support our mission, we do not expect anything from you if this is your first visit.

What options for giving does your church provide?

Donations can be made in person during services, sent by mail to the church, or through various online methods such as Paypal, Givelify, Cash.App, paying via QR code, or using Zelle.
