I’m Sandy, an illustrator and designer, and the creator behind ArtistandSpace. Started in 2021 during my MA in Illustration, I now live and create in London, blending creativity with strategy thanks to my Business Management and Marketing background. My vibrant, mixed-media work explores identity, Black joy, and Black mental health, turning lived experiences into bold storytelling that celebrates resilience, community, and the richness of Black identity. I’m a facilitator, exhibitor, and all-around creative — I run pop-ups and create spaces where art sparks connection, healing, and collective expression. Inspired by Afrofuturism, culture, and imagination, my work invites others to experience joy, empowerment, and possibility.
